Trento Barangays

Trento is a philippine municipality. It is located in the province Agusan Del Sur in Region XIII Caraga which is a part of the Mindanao group of islands. The municipality Trento is seated about 63 km south-south-east of province capital Prosperidad and about 913 km south-east of Philippine main capital Manila. The geographic coordinates of Trento are 8° 2' 37'' N, 126° 3' 33'' E.

Administratively the Municipality of Trento is subdivided into 16 barangays. One forms the center of the city wheras the other 15 are in the outlying areas. Some of them are even several kilometers away from the center of the Municipality.

According to the 2007 census, Trento has a population of 46,247 residents and is part of the big group of 1073 cities and municipalities in the Philippines which have more than 10.000 residents but did not reach 50.000 population yet. Based on the number of its inhabitants Trento is number 490 of the most populous cities of the Philippines and at 122 in Mindanao group of islands and at 5 of the most populous cities of province Agusan Del Sur. With an area of 555.70 km² Trento is one of the cities with a smaller urban area. Based on its area area, it ranks only as the 7th of the smallest cities of the province of Agusan Del Sur.

According to the Philippine income classification for provinces, cities and municipalities Trento is a 1st class municipality. The urbanization status of Trento is classified as partly urban.

Among the bigger cities and muni­ci­pa­li­ties in the neigh­bor­hood of Trento there are City Of Tagum (Davao Del Norte) 71 km south-south-west, City Of Bayugan 95 km north-west, City Of Bislig (Surigao Del Sur) 33 km east-north-east, City Of Panabo (Davao Del Norte) 91 km south-south-west, Monkayo (Compostela Valley) 25 km south, Santo Tomas (Davao Del Norte) 78 km south-west, Prosperidad 62 km north-west, Nabunturan (Compostela Valley) 50 km south-south-west, Maco (Compostela Valley) 78 km south-south-west as well as 40 km south of Trento the municipality Compostela (Compostela Valley).
