Talaingod

Talaingod is a philippine municipality in the province Davao Del Norte in Region XI Davao Region which be­longs to the Mindanao group of islands. The municipality Talaingod is seated about 31 km north-west of province capital City Of Tagum and about 922 km south-south-east of Philippine main capital Manila.

Talaingod is a 2nd class municipality. Regarding urbanization Talaingod is classified as rural. Talaingod occupies an area of 656.83 km². By the end of 2007 Talaingod was the home of 19,600 residents. Thus by average 29.84 people are living on one km².

Administratively the Municipality of Talaingod is subdivided into 3 barangays. The most populous are Dagohoy, Palma Gil, Santo Niņo.
