Tacup

Tacup is a barangay of the philippine municipality San Remigio in the province Cebu in Central Visayas which is part of the Visayas group of islands.

Tacup is one of the barangays which are in the outlying area of Municipality San Remigio.

The municipality San Remigio with a population of about 47,826 and its 27 barangays belong to the partly urban areas in the Philippines. While some of the barangays developed modern urban structures, some others, especially those which are seated in the outlying areas, remained rural. By the end of 2007 Tacup had 2,129 residents.
