Sibagat is a philippine municipality in the province Agusan Del Sur in Region XIII Caraga which belongs to the Mindanao group of islands. The municipality Sibagat is seated about 34 km north-west of province capital Prosperidad and about 821 km south-east of Philippine main capital Manila.
Sibagat is a 1st class municipality. Regarding urbanization Sibagat is classified as partly urban. Sibagat occupies an area of 567.82 km². By the end of 2007 Sibagat was the home of 30,074 residents. Thus by average 52.96 people are living on one km².
Administratively the Municipality of Sibagat is subdivided into 24 barangays. One forms the center of the city wheras the other 23 are in the outlying areas. Some of them are even several kilometers away from the center of the Municipality.
