San Pascual

San Pascual is a philippine municipality in the province Masbate in Region V Bicol Region which be­longs to the Luzon group of islands. The municipality San Pascual is seated about 106 km north-west of province capital City Of Masbate and about 268 km south-east of Philippine main capital Manila.

San Pascual is a 3rd class municipality. Regarding urbanization San Pascual is classified as partly urban. San Pascual occupies an area of 246.65 km². By the end of 2007 San Pascual was the home of 41,736 residents. Thus by average 169.21 people are living on one km².

Administratively the Municipality of San Pascual is subdivided into 22 barangays. 2 compose the center of the city wheras the other 20 are in the outlying areas. Some of them are even several kilometers away from the center of the Municipality. The most populous are Ki-Buaya (Rizal), Nazareno, Halabangbaybay, Terraplin (Pob.), Dangcalan, San Jose, Mabuhay, Ki-Romero (Roxas), Mabini, Quintina, Pinamasingan, Malaking Ilog, Santa Cruz, Busing, Laurente.

Among the bigger cities and muni­ci­pa­li­ties in the neigh­bor­hood of San Pascual there are Daraga (Locsin) (Albay) 80 km east, City Of Tabaco (Albay) 85 km east-north-east, Legazpi City (Albay) 81 km east, Naga City (Camarines Sur) 65 km north-north-east, Iriga City (Camarines Sur) 57 km east-north-east, City Of Ligao (Albay) 59 km east, Guinobatan (Albay) 67 km east, Nabua (Camarines Sur) 52 km north-east, Polangui (Albay) 60 km east-north-east as well as 61 km north-east of San Pascual the municipality Pili (Camarines Sur).
