San Manuel Barangays

San Manuel is a philippine municipality. It is located in the province Isabela in Region II Cagayan Valley which is a part of the Luzon group of islands. The municipality San Manuel is seated about 55 km west-south-west of province capital Ilagan and about 278 km north-north-east of Philippine main capital Manila. The geographic coordinates of San Manuel are 17° 1' 0'' N, 121° 37' 59'' E.

Administratively the Municipality of San Manuel is subdivided into 19 barangays. 4 compose the center of the city wheras the other 15 are in the outlying areas. Some of them are even several kilometers away from the center of the Municipality.

According to the 2007 census, San Manuel has a population of 28,420 residents and is part of the big group of 1073 cities and municipalities in the Philippines which have more than 10.000 residents but did not reach 50.000 population yet. Based on the number of its inhabitants San Manuel is number 901 of the most populous cities of the Philippines and at 447 in Luzon group of islands and at 17 of the most populous cities of province Isabela. With an area of 112.77 km² San Manuel is one of the cities with a smaller urban area. Based on its area area, it ranks only as the 31st of the smallest cities of the province of Isabela.

According to the Philippine income classification for provinces, cities and municipalities San Manuel is a 4th class municipality. The urbanization status of San Manuel is classified as partly urban.
