Ragay is a philippine municipality in the province Camarines Sur in Region V Bicol Region which belongs to the Luzon group of islands. The municipality Ragay is seated about 62 km west-north-west of province capital Pili and about 210 km east-south-east of Philippine main capital Manila.
Ragay is a 1st class municipality. Regarding urbanization Ragay is classified as partly urban. Ragay occupies an area of 400.22 km². By the end of 2007 Ragay was the home of 52,021 residents. Thus by average 129.98 people are living on one km².
Administratively the Municipality of Ragay is subdivided into 38 barangays. 2 compose the center of the city wheras the other 36 are in the outlying areas. Some of them are even several kilometers away from the center of the Municipality. The most populous are Agao-ao, Upper Omon, Inandawa, Panaytayan Nuevo, Patalunan, Cabadisan, Apale, Cabinitan, Lanipga-Cawayan, Samay, Port Junction Sur, Caditaan, Port Junction Norte, Cabugao, Upper Santa Cruz.
