Pidigan is a philippine municipality in the province Abra in Region Cordillera Administrative Region which be­longs to the Luzon group of islands. The municipality Pidigan is seated about 5 km south-west of province capital Bangued and about 335 km north of Philippine main capital Manila.

Pidigan is a 5th class municipality. Regarding urbanization Pidigan is classified as partly urban. Pidigan occupies an area of 49.15 km². By the end of 2007 Pidigan was the home of 11,280 residents. Thus by average 229.50 people are living on one km².

Administratively the Municipality of Pidigan is subdivided into 15 barangays. 2 compose the center of the city wheras the other 13 are in the outlying areas. Some of them are even several kilometers away from the center of the Municipality. The most populous are Yuyeng, San Diego, Arab, Laskig, Naguirayan, Pamutic, Immuli, Garreta, Suyo (Malidong), Sulbec, Pangtud, Alinaya, Poblacion West, Monggoc, Poblacion East.

Among the bigger cities and muni­ci­pa­li­ties in the neigh­bor­hood of Pidigan there are City Of Candon (Ilocos Sur) 43 km south-south-west, Tuao (Cagayan) 93 km east, City Of Vigan (Ilocos Sur) 20 km west, Laoag City (Ilocos Norte) 68 km north, City Of Batac (Ilocos Norte) 53 km north, City Of Tabuk (Kalinga) 93 km east, Bacnotan (La Union) 97 km south-south-west, Santa Cruz (Ilocos Sur) 61 km south-south-west, Bangued 4 km north-east as well as 19 km south-west of Pidigan the municipality Narvacan (Ilocos Sur).
