Paracelis is a philippine municipality in the province Mountain Province in Region Cordillera Administrative Region which be­longs to the Luzon group of islands. The municipality Paracelis is seated about 56 km east-north-east of province capital Bontoc and about 302 km north of Philippine main capital Manila.

Paracelis is a 2nd class municipality. Regarding urbanization Paracelis is classified as partly urban. Paracelis occupies an area of 570.16 km². By the end of 2007 Paracelis was the home of 24,705 residents. Thus by average 43.33 people are living on one km².

Administratively the Municipality of Paracelis is subdivided into 9 barangays. One forms the center of the city wheras the other 8 are in the outlying areas. Some of them are even several kilometers away from the center of the Municipality. The most populous are Bananao, Bunot, Buringal, Anonat, Bacarni, Palitod, Butigue, Bantay, Poblacion.

Among the bigger cities and muni­ci­pa­li­ties in the neigh­bor­hood of Paracelis there are Ilagan (Isabela) 72 km east-south-east, City Of Tabuk (Kalinga) 20 km north, City Of Isabela (City Of Isabela) 60 km east-south-east, City Of Santiago (Isabela) 64 km south, Tuguegarao City (Cagayan) 47 km north-east, City Of Cauayan (Isabela) 51 km south-east, Alicia (Isabela) 59 km south-south-east, Echague (Isabela) 66 km south-south-east, Solana (Cagayan) 49 km north-north-east as well as 44 km south-south-east of Paracelis the municipality San Mateo (Isabela).
