Paniqui

Paniqui is a philippine municipality in the province Tarlac in Region III Central Luzon which be­longs to the Luzon group of islands. The municipality Paniqui is seated about 23 km north of province capital City Of Tarlac and about 129 km north-west of Philippine main capital Manila.

Paniqui is a 1st class municipality. Regarding urbanization Paniqui is classified as partly urban. Paniqui occupies an area of 105.16 km². By the end of 2007 Paniqui was the home of 83,311 residents. Thus by average 792.23 people are living on one km².

Administratively the Municipality of Paniqui is subdivided into 35 barangays. 2 compose the center of the city wheras the other 33 are in the outlying areas. Some of them are even several kilometers away from the center of the Municipality. The most populous are Brillante, San Juan de Milla, Nagmisaan, Manaois, Barang (Borang), San Carlos, Matalapitap, Aduas, Dapdap, Santa Ines, Nipaco, Acocolao, San Isidro, Cayanga, Sinigpit.

Among the bigger cities and muni­ci­pa­li­ties in the neigh­bor­hood of Paniqui there are Olongapo City (Zambales) 98 km south-south-west, City Of Tarlac 22 km south, Cabanatuan City (Nueva Ecija) 46 km east-south-east, City Of San Fernando (Pampanga) 73 km south, Baguio City (Benguet) 83 km north, Angeles City (Pampanga) 57 km south, Lubao (Pampanga) 81 km south, City Of Malolos (Bulacan) 95 km south-south-east, San Carlos City (Pangasinan) 38 km north-west as well as 50 km south of Paniqui the municipality Mabalacat (Pampanga).
