Paglat

Paglat is a philippine municipality in the province Maguindanao in Region Autonomous Region in Muslim which be­longs to the Mindanao group of islands. The municipality Paglat is seated about 726 km north-west of province capital Shariff Aguak (Maganoy) and about 213 km south-south-east of Philippine main capital Manila.

Regarding urbanization Paglat is classified as partly urban. Paglat occupies an area of 177.74 km². By the end of 2007 Paglat was the home of 23,432 residents. Thus by average 131.83 people are living on one km².

Administratively the Municipality of Paglat is subdivided into 8 barangays. The most populous are Salam, Campo, Kakal, Tual, Damalusay, Upper Idtig, Paglat, Damakling.

Among the bigger cities and muni­ci­pa­li­ties in the neigh­bor­hood of Paglat there are Naujan (Oriental Mindoro) 77 km north-west, Pinamalayan (Oriental Mindoro) 48 km west-north-west, Santa Cruz (Marinduque) 73 km north-north-east, Catanauan (Quezon) 98 km north-east, San Jose (Occidental Mindoro) 100 km west-south-west, City Of Calapan (Oriental Mindoro) 89 km north-west, Boac (Marinduque) 66 km north, Mulanay (Quezon) 100 km north-east, Roxas (Oriental Mindoro) 47 km south-west as well as 52 km west-south-west of Paglat the municipality Bongabong (Oriental Mindoro).
