Oyan is a barangay of the philippine component city Dapitan City in the province Zamboanga Del Norte in Zamboanga Peninsula which is part of the Mindanao group of islands.

Oyan belongs to the barangays of Component City Dapitan City which are in the outlying area.

The component city Dapitan City with a population of about 72,792 and its 50 barangays belong to the partly urban areas in the Philippines. While some of the barangays developed modern urban structures, some others, especially those which are seated in the outlying areas, remained rural. By the end of 2007 Oyan had 758 residents.
