MalitaMalita is a philippine municipality in the province Davao Del Sur in Region XI Davao Region which belongs to the Mindanao group of islands. The municipality Malita is seated about 50 km south-south-east of province capital City Of Digos and about 1,042 km south-south-east of Philippine main capital Manila. Malita is a 1st class municipality. Regarding urbanization Malita is classified as partly urban. Malita occupies an area of 883.37 km². By the end of 2007 Malita was the home of 106,135 residents. Thus by average 120.15 people are living on one km². Administratively the Municipality of Malita is subdivided into 30 barangays. One forms the center of the city wheras the other 29 are in the outlying areas. Some of them are even several kilometers away from the center of the Municipality. The most populous are Tical, New Argao, Kibalatong, Culaman, Bito, Felis, Tingolo, Lais, Bolila, Macol, Kidalapong, Kilalag, Pangaleon, Manuel Peralta, Lacaron.
