Luba is a philippine municipality in the province Abra in Region Cordillera Administrative Region which be­longs to the Luzon group of islands. The municipality Luba is seated about 29 km south-south-east of province capital Bangued and about 309 km north of Philippine main capital Manila.

Luba is a 5th class municipality. Regarding urbanization Luba is classified as partly urban. Luba occupies an area of 148.27 km². By the end of 2007 Luba was the home of 6,363 residents. Thus by average 42.91 people are living on one km².

Administratively the Municipality of Luba is subdivided into 8 barangays. One forms the center of the city wheras the other 7 are in the outlying areas. Some of them are even several kilometers away from the center of the Municipality. The most populous are Lul-luno, Nagbukel-Tuquipa, Barit, Sabnangan, Luzong, Gayaman, Poblacion, Ampalioc.

Among the bigger cities and muni­ci­pa­li­ties in the neigh­bor­hood of Luba there are City Of Tabuk (Kalinga) 82 km east, Bauang (La Union) 98 km south-south-west, Tuao (Cagayan) 91 km east-north-east, City Of San Fernando (La Union) 90 km south-south-west, Laoag City (Ilocos Norte) 93 km north, La Trinidad (Benguet) 97 km south, City Of Vigan (Ilocos Sur) 40 km north-west, Bangued 29 km north-west, City Of Batac (Ilocos Norte) 79 km north as well as 96 km south-south-west of Luba the municipality Naguilian (La Union).
