of islands. The municipality La Paz is seated about 40 km south of province capital Tacloban City
and about 594 km south-east of Philippine main capital Manila. The geographic coordinates of La Paz are 10° 53' 34'' N, 124° 57' 21'' E.
Administratively the Municipality of La Paz is subdivided into 35 barangays. 4 compose the center of the city wheras the other 31 are in the outlying areas. Some of them are even several kilometers away from the center of the Municipality.
