Kolambugan is a philippine municipality in the province Lanao Del Norte in Region X Northern Mindanao which belongs to the Mindanao group of islands. The municipality Kolambugan is seated about 12 km east-north-east of province capital Tubod and about 789 km south-south-east of Philippine main capital Manila.
Kolambugan is a 4th class municipality. Regarding urbanization Kolambugan is classified as partly urban. Kolambugan occupies an area of 134.55 km². By the end of 2007 Kolambugan was the home of 25,306 residents. Thus by average 188.08 people are living on one km².
