HagonoyHagonoy is a philippine municipality in the province Davao Del Sur in Region XI Davao Region which belongs to the Mindanao group of islands. The municipality Hagonoy is seated about 9 km south-south-west of province capital City Of Digos and about 999 km south-south-east of Philippine main capital Manila. Hagonoy is a 3rd class municipality. Regarding urbanization Hagonoy is classified as partly urban. Hagonoy occupies an area of 114.28 km². By the end of 2007 Hagonoy was the home of 46,648 residents. Thus by average 408.19 people are living on one km². Administratively the Municipality of Hagonoy is subdivided into 21 barangays. One forms the center of the city wheras the other 20 are in the outlying areas. Some of them are even several kilometers away from the center of the Municipality. The most populous are Clib, La Union, San Guillermo, Maliit Digos, New Quezon, Malabang Damsite, Lanuro, San Isidro, Tologan, Lapulabao, Kibuaya, Mahayahay, Leling, Guihing Aplaya, Paligue.
