Hagonoy

Hagonoy is a philippine municipality in the province Davao Del Sur in Region XI Davao Region which be­longs to the Mindanao group of islands. The municipality Hagonoy is seated about 9 km south-south-west of province capital City Of Digos and about 999 km south-south-east of Philippine main capital Manila.

Hagonoy is a 3rd class municipality. Regarding urbanization Hagonoy is classified as partly urban. Hagonoy occupies an area of 114.28 km². By the end of 2007 Hagonoy was the home of 46,648 residents. Thus by average 408.19 people are living on one km².
