Dinapigue

Dinapigue is a philippine municipality in the province Isabela in Region II Cagayan Valley which be­longs to the Luzon group of islands. The municipality Dinapigue is seated about 57 km south-south-east of province capital Ilagan and about 272 km north-east of Philippine main capital Manila.

Dinapigue is a 1st class municipality. Regarding urbanization Dinapigue is classified as partly urban. Dinapigue occupies an area of 574.40 km². By the end of 2007 Dinapigue was the home of 4,807 residents. Thus by average 8.37 people are living on one km².

Administratively the Municipality of Dinapigue is subdivided into 6 barangays. One forms the center of the city wheras the other 5 are in the outlying areas. The most populous are Dimaluade, Bucal Norte, Ayod, Bucal Sur, Dibulo, Digumased (Pob.).

Among the bigger cities and muni­ci­pa­li­ties in the neigh­bor­hood of Dinapigue there are Echague 74 km west, City Of Santiago 85 km west, City Of Cauayan 66 km west-north-west, Alicia 70 km west, Ilagan 56 km north-west, City Of Isabela (City Of Isabela) 54 km north-west, San Mateo 84 km west-north-west, Ramon 88 km west, San Mariano 50 km north-west as well as 84 km north-west of Dinapigue the municipality Tumauini.
