Cabatangan

Cabatangan is a barangay of the philippine highly urbanized city Zamboanga City in the province Zamboanga Del Sur in Zamboanga Peninsula which is part of the Mindanao group of islands.

Cabatangan belongs to the barangays of Highly Urbanized City Zamboanga City which are in the outlying area.

The highly urbanized city Zamboanga City with a population of about 774,407 and its 98 barangays belong to the partly urban areas in the Philippines. While some of the barangays developed modern urban structures, some others, especially those which are seated in the outlying areas, remained rural. By the end of 2007 Cabatangan had 8,670 residents.
