Bacacay is a philippine municipality in the province Albay in Region V Bicol Region which belongs to the Luzon group of islands. The municipality Bacacay is seated about 20 km north-north-east of province capital Legazpi City and about 334 km east-south-east of Philippine main capital Manila.
Bacacay is a 2nd class municipality. Regarding urbanization Bacacay is classified as partly urban. Bacacay occupies an area of 122.13 km². By the end of 2007 Bacacay was the home of 61,574 residents. Thus by average 504.17 people are living on one km².
